Our Mission

Solairaq.org is a dedicated to promoting peace, happiness, democracy and sustainable development. Just like sunlight, air, water, and movement, are essential for people to be healthy.

Planning

We believe it is not easy to describe the most important things that contribute to wellbeing and happiness. It is even harder to define the actions required to achieve and maintain harmony. Expressing clear goals is the source for planning. Therefore, our organization is committed to helping communities discover the things that are most important and providing the most efficient plan to help people live their best lives.

Care

In any case, the care, concern, attention, and support we provide to others, is essential for humanity. It encompasses empathy, compassion, and looking out for the wellbeing of fellow human beings. 

Children thrive when they receive care, love, and attention. It shapes their emotional intelligence and overall development. Care can mitigate violence. Early intervention, emotional support, and education matter.

People who care about others should be rewarded. People who knowingly harm others should be punished.

Sustainable Leadership

We believe that good leadership is crucial for creating a peaceful and prosperous world. Good leaders are transparently planning based on quantified risks. But most of all, good leaders should be caring about society.

Although we firmly believe all humans want to do good, a lot of bad exists. Some leaders are bringing genocide, war, oppression, environmental degradation, and social polarization. Peace is the most important goal of our efforts, and although we advocate sovereignty, we will not tolerate systems that kill or oppress civilians for the benefit of their leaders. The leaders of such systems must be held accountable for their actions.

Democracy, as a system of governance, aims to empower citizens by allowing them to participate in decision-making processes and elect leaders who represent their interests. Although democracy aims to empower citizens, it can sometimes degenerate into political theatre. This happens when politicians emphasize optics, spectacle, and executive action over substantive policy decisions. The focus shifts from genuine governance to winning public approval.

Solairaq therefore also wants to contribute to more sustainable forms of democracy. A more sustainable form of democracy must prevent political theatre or even the drift towards dictatorships.

To address this, democratic systems must be adapted to emphasize transparency, accountability, and substantive dialogue.

Separation of powers is a cornerstone of sustainable democracy. As think tank or potential political player, we will not speak for the justice, or enforce it. Rather, we want to set governmental and the non-governmental organizations in motion for the justice and the enforcement.

Quantification

Quantification is a crucial element in the definition of objectives. Many political objectives are chosen on the basis of sentimental elements and even populist slogans. Real progress can only be made through respectful discussions based on clear elements and agreed quantifications. Even if quantifications have to be continually adjusted, they are the only way to provide clarity.

Soaliraq wants to contribute to the search for quantifications that can be generally accepted. We want to be a platform that exchanges new insights and displays the results of concrete calculations.

Human needs

At the same time, we recognize that individuals have a responsibility to take control of their own lives. While good leaders can create an environment that encourages people to flourish, it is ultimately up to each person to make the most of their opportunities. We believe that organizational planning and personal development are interdependent and both essential to our mission. Still, they constitute different pillars in our organization as they are addressed in a the different way. Therefor they are a separate chapter in our organisation.
