The Government Maturity Model has evolved into a comprehensive Analysis of Democracy, expanding upon the structured methodology. Produced through six months of intense human-AI collaboration and meticulous personal refinement, this document is the first published version prepared for the World Forum for Democracy 2026. By sharing it one month ahead of the forum opening on November 2, 2026, this early release establishes a shared foundation for upcoming discussions, with minor updates posted as fine-tuning continues.
Epistemic Rigour Unifying Politics, Religion, and Science
While many core concepts from the original maturity model are preserved, the new analysis gains immense epistemic and scientific strength through its revised structure. Rather than relying solely on operational benchmarks, the framework builds systematically from an explicit definition of "the good," traces historical evolution, and maps current realities across all their complex facets. This multi-layered methodological foundation elevates the analytical authority and rigor of its conclusions.
A striking result of this structural approach is the conceptual unification of politics, religion, and science. Rather than viewing these domains as naturally conflicting, the analysis frames all three as complementary, truth-seeking initiatives—each utilizing distinct methods to understand reality and contribute to building a better, more flourishing society.
Finding Traction in Existing Organisations
A central objective of releasing this analysis ahead of the World Forum for Democracy is to find active traction within existing international institutions, public sector entities, and NGO’s. By connecting these insights to established institutional frameworks, we aim to move from theoretical model-building to practical implementation—shaping policy, rebuilding civic trust, and strengthening democratic resilience worldwide.
